I’m infatuated with the world of American royals - it’s complexities and characters and romances.

This book really deepened the characters and added a surprising level of complexity to the various relationships.  While these books are clearly meant to be relatively "fluffy" and light, I appreciate that (most of) the characters do try to learn from their mistakes and grow as people.  I disliked Sam less, but found Nina to get more annoying so I suppose it balanced out in the wash.  I like Beatrice more, and really felt for the pressures she was under and sympathy for the mistakes she made.

Not as good as the first one but still entertaining. If britanny Presley is narrating I don’t think I can dislike a book. Will absolutely be starting the next one immediately.

I cannot believe how many times the author used the word “utterly” in one book.
