It took me a while to finish this because I was dipping in and out, but the poems are beautiful, emotional, and poignant. Nikita Gill always writes from the heart and that seems especially true of this collection, with some very personal, moving poems. I feel like every reader will find at least one poem that resonates with them in this book; two that were particularly stand outs for me were Soulmates and Us. Gill treats every topic she writes about with care and empathy, and I love the way she speaks to girls and women, looking to empower everyone that reads her work.

A tender but empowering collection ❤️ This book is like a balm to the soul. I love how it's split into seasons and the astrology-themed affirmations. As always, the author writes unflinchingly about very relevant issues that allow females everywhere to feel seen.

I've been a fan of Nikita Gill since her debut with Your Soul Is A River way back in 2012 and she's truly one of my favourite modern poets of all time. Her work is always so full of beautiful imagery, raw feminine rage, power and comfort.

Poetry collections, especially instapoetry, tend to have both hits and misses for me, but Nikita Gill nails it every time.

This was my first YA poetry collection and I really enjoyed it.

The level of details content warnigg bc s was thoroughly appreciated, and I feel is so important especially for a younger audience to be aware of what is ahead.

This books of prose brought us on a journey with the poet and I felt safe and comforted throughout.

A beautiful selection, and I’m looking forward to recommending this to some of the younger people in my life.

Nikita Gill has done it again by bringing readers another poetry collection that not only makes readers emotional but empowers readers with her inspirational thoughts and words. Really wished I had a collection like this during my teenage years.
