Een mooi einde aan deze serie. Ik heb ervan genoten, maar vind echt dat de Keizerrijk-serie en de serie van de Oorlog van de Grote Scheuring beter zijn. De plot is soms wat ongeloofwaardig, maar de karakters vind ik echt heel erg leuk en de vaart bleef er goed in. Al met al het herlezen waard.

this is probably the serpentwar that ive read the least, but rereading it now, its actually really fun. seeing the weight that jimmy and dash have to go through being duke james' grandson, and how the legacy of himself splits between the two is great. patrick is such a shithead, rightfully getting fucked as a result.

A good book with great characters and a compelling plot. As usual for Feist, the writing itself was lacking, but given the choice between great plot and great prose I'll pick the plot any day of the week.

This was an interesting wrap up to this part of the cycle. I'm interested to see what the next series holds for the worlds. It was really good.
