I didn't want it to end

I mean, did it have to end? I feel like it could have been on-going. Okay, but honestly this series was AMAZING!!!! From beginning to end. I was thoroughly satisfied with this. Thank you M.J. HAAĢ!

I enjoyed this series. Definitely questionable and definitely not for everyone, but I grew to like to characters and read about their lives.

Book 1001, yay, starting on the next thousand. This is the final book in a Beauty and the Beast retelling trilogy. This one was ok, but not as good as the others. I do like that here we get to see what happens after the story usually ends. Normally, he turns into a human and they live happily ever after. But I have often thought - she fell in love with the Beast, what of the man? Benella and her dad are living with the Beast, who is now human, and the witch still has him in her clutches. He must do as she says, or she'll turn him back. That woman, though. She's punishing everyone and I don't quite get why so much by the end. The end is quite predictable, but I won't spoil it. I'm glad I read the conclusion, but it had lost some of the tension and story of the first ones.

This series is amazing! The ending to this series is awesome. I love Benella and how she handles everything that is thrown at her. I love fairy tale retellings and I don't know why but I always seem to come back to this series when I need a beauty and the beast retelling. My favorite part of this series has to be this book because most retellings end when the curse is broken but this series continues on after and I love that. This series is geared toward adults so there are a few scenes that are more mature. That being said I still highly recommend this book. M. J. Haag really creates a world and atmosphere in her books that you don't want to leave.
