I at first thought that the queen being dead was a hoax, it seemed too easy but thank the stars for it. But Shade….shade and Farley just became pregnant and the trap…how the hell did Maven find out, was it Jon? Is he on there side or nah? Anyways I’m ready to wrench out my heart the next book because poor Mare is going to be tossed and turned even more than she’s already been emotionally and physically and that’s insane given what she’s already have to go through. At least her memories will remain private.

I know many people have said the first and third books of the series are better so maybe I just came in with low expectations but I really enjoyed this one and I actually liked it more than Red Queen.
