This is maybe the best tentacle related book I've read but it still lacked a certain amount of polish and pizzazz. I was skimming through the sex scenes a lot.

Oh, my heart. This was a great monster romance- with a kraken! The shifter element and Rose’s curiosity were so fun to engage with. I liked the way paper products were the channel for her magic, and the way shiny things seemed to entrance Gideon were fun details to a really beautiful story for Rose to restore confidence in herself, an immortal to find a renewed purpose and a home, and as a bonus, a predator to get what he deserves.
