To be honest, this book did not reach my expectations at all. I heard such good things about it, but I honestly had trouble finishing it. To me, Juliette was a bit whiny, and the writing style threw me off a bit. The descriptions were decent, though I think the author could have paced them better. The strikethroughs were really disorienting to me and although the concept was cool, I feel like I spent a while trying to read what they said and figure out how it was relevant, which took away from the story for me.
Overall, I think this story had a lot of potential, but I wish it wasn't so heavily focused on the romance subplot, and the writing could have been a bit better.
