As others have referred to this as a morally ambiguous tale, I must agree, though I am not sure that morally is the right word as much as legally. I think morally all, yes including the villain, were in the right. People shouldn't have such things to hide and should have a standing offer of paying their employees more if they did.

This one was quite enrtertaining! I liked seeing Watson and Holmes on the other side of things for once. And that ending with Lestrade made me giggle.

Wonderful Sherlock Holmes story. Since this season of the BBC show will feature a villain based upon this story, I read it in preparation for the new episode tonight. This story took a bit of a dramatic turn, I totally loved it.

After reading Poirot, Sherlock looks like a bumbling fool.. he reminds me of Captain Hastings more than of a detective.
