Does a particularly good job at ensuring you understand each section of the wider narrative in sections where you move back and forward in time where appropriate- avoiding the issue of struggling to remember relevant details from earlier which could have happened if everything was simply approached chronologically. This makes for a really interesting read where slowly things a added to the overall picture in a constantly engaging and interesting way.

I really wanted to like this book, but I just didn’t. It was too slow and not interestingly written. The authors’ writing style also made it hard to keep track of who was whom. Just read a Wikipedia article about MBS instead.

A well-researched account of MBS's rise to power and his business and political connections. The authors presented their information in an engaging manner that kept me interested in their account, rather than making this a test of endurance with all the information they present. I recommend to anyone who wants to gain more perspective on Saudi Arabia's role on the world stage, particularly because MBS is only starting out and will likely be around for the next few decades.
