It took me only a day to finish reading this novel, and I already know I'll definitely re-read it at some point.

I don't usually go for "enemies to lovers" trope, but this book really worked for me, because it was so much more than just tropes. It's a story of two fragile people who couldn't be more different, people who fight very difficult battles, who, during their personal journeys, end up finding out what they mean to each other. The novel includes a lot of heavy topics, which were listed in the beginning of the book, which I found helpful.

Both Dylan and Jonah were amazing, and even though I have to admit, it took me a long while to warm up to Jonah, I quickly started rooting for both of them. I loved Jonah's friendship with Andre, as well as Dylan's friendship with Hanna. All of Jonah's interactions with his sisters, and with his aunt, gave me an unfair amount of feelings, as did the plotline of Dylan and his brother.

The story was a bit predictable and cheesy at times, and I think there should have been more conversations between certain characters, because the ending felt a little bit too "well, now all of our issues are resolved", but on the other hand, I think that was exactly what I needed, I think. 5 stars from me.

Another book that spent  way too much time in my reader before I read it. And it was another fantastic one!

Jonah and Dylan are as different as people can be, each with their own problems but still in the same friend group.

It was so good to see that they were able to figure out their situations before
getting together for real. Though them breaking up was a catalyst for Dylan to look for his brother
.

The book dealt with some heavy topics so it's definitely not for everyone, but I'm glad all the possible triggers are listed right in the beginning. The list is not vague, but has a detailed description in what way it is appearing.

This was so cute!! It offers exactly what you expect it to: beautifully tropey nemesis-to-lovers, with a big load of fake dating and still not lacking on character depth. It’s exactly my cup of tea and had such a good time.

I never accepted his promise from earlier, but he keeps it anyway. He doesn't let me fall.

This reminded me why I still read YA books from time to time. They usually don't click with me, but this one just hit different. I was not expecting all of the discussions that were had in this little book: from familial love to childhood trauma, I felt that it was all done very well. Not only was I smiling and giggling to myself like a total fool, I also found myself tearing up multiple times because I just loved the dynamic between Jonah and his little sisters. Having two little sisters myself, Jonah's thoughts and fears brought up so many feelings in me; I just loved him as a character. All of the darker moments (please refer to the author's comment on Goodreads for trigger warnings) were beautifully balanced by cute and somewhat cringey scenes like PDA and Jonah acting the clown.

I totally recommend the audiobook, it was really well done - the spanish was gorgeous!

Obsessed, basically listened for 10 hours straight. An "I can fix him but wait I need to fix myself" masterpiece.
