I have... NO idea what to rate this. But what I DO know is that I'm fascinated, I'm intrigued, and I want more. I need to know how this plays out.

Whenever I read Urasawa, I'm struck with this profound sense of melancholy that sits atop me like Natre's ghost from Shutter.

It's nothing short of genius the way he juxtaposes the child-like wonder with middle-age crisis while effortlessly flickering between different time periods to give the reader a sense of festering evil that is about to reach its boiling point.

Masterful. Cannot wait to read more.

Promising start to a new series by Naoki Urawasa. A kind of Japanese Stand By Me mixed with Lost, with great storytelling and art.
