I've seen the name "Blanchot" a number of times without really understanding who he was or what he did, and Wikipedia wasn't very helpful; as such, this intro to his thinking was helpful. Although it didn't clear him up 100%—it's not so much the fault of the writer as the density and complexity of Blanchot's thinking itself—it gave me a more definite sense of his contribution to literary theory. His view of language as negation and literature as the impersonal, the neutral, was the most intriguing to me. I might try to read Blanchot himself.
