Max is my favorite character in the series and his relationships with various characters provides both levity and intensity. Here he's not the levity to Em or Misha, Max is the focus. Dirty Macking is the first time in a long time we've focused on Max and gotten his perspective.
Kenya Wright addresses the trauma that's been a part of Em and Max's story since the beginning. We get a lot more background on his family. If you thought everyone was already connected before, well, the connections become even tighter.
Kenya has already given us some insight into Max's future (IYKYK. I can't wait for Daddy Max and any freak outs he may have with Em and Kaz's son). Definitely looking out for more.
