It's taken seven tries, but I finally made it through this book. It's well-written and enjoyable. I am curious to see where it is going.

(leaning more towards 5 stars so that’s why it has 5 stars on here instead of just 4!!)

WOW! I loved this. took me absolutely ages to get round to finishing it but I feel like there is massive weight off my back now that I have. I thoroughly enjoyed it however. this book is so much better than the actual series, it adds so much more character to the characters (if yk what I mean). my favourite chapters had to be the sansa or jon ones. since I read this through a very long period I didn’t really process it all at once so it’s hard for me to remember stuff near the beginning of the book. I absolutely love dany, she deserves the world<3

this world is just so rich and amazing. ugh I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I am so excited to reread this book, annotate it and whatnot. I am also so buzzed to continue on with the next books as I cannot wait to see the areas where the show has strayed from book accuracy. I just know this series will be so much more than the series is and due to my insane love for the series I am so so excited to get more into this.

I also loved reading this especially the end of the book as certain scenes made me more hyped to see it again in the show as I’m rewatching it with my bf. cant wait to see his reactions to some parts

DNF for reasons unrelated to the novel itself.
