You'd think I'd be tired of Christmas romances after more than a month of them, but no... not if they're like The Holiday Swap. It's completely charming. Yes, there were secrets - but they're inherent in this sort of story. And they provided just the right amount of angst to keep it from being overly sweet.
Okay, the epilogue was too sweet. Point taken. (Make that a half point...)

I wanted a hallmark Christmas movie in a book and this book was definitely that. The plot made no sense and there is so much that happens in such a short period of time, BUT it entertained me, and that’s what I signed up for so it gets 3/5 stars

3.5 stars⭐️ of cute Christmas fun. A tad unrealistic and overly-happy, but that's pretty much what I want in a Christmas-themed book so I won't complain. Watching cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies is one of my guilty pleasures even though I know they're so bad and all have the same plot. This book was kind of like a Hallmark Christmas movie but way more enjoyable.
