I love the premise of this story, and the format, but feel like it could have been better executed. The story is set inside the arctic circle, where the sun doesn't rise or set for 30 days — but we only really get to see what happens on day 1 or day 30, so we're left with a lot of gaps to fill. I'm interested to watch the film adaptation as the story clearly has a lot of potentential.

It’s like a Cola slurpee. It’s cold, dark, has some energy and aesthetic, but ultimately does not have any sustenance or nuance.
