I had a bad image of the book from other people’s opinions but I really liked it. Michael was mean but not anything you couldn’t read or Rika couldn’t take (personally it just feels like booktok was too sensitive). The story line was really good and the way it showed their internal struggles through it was super real and super understandable. I love that they knew each other since they were children and the little memory Michael has of her. Kinda hated Damon but everybody loved his book so I hope he gets better
