Heads up - this is not a romance. I think it’s good to know that going in. I really liked this when I first read it - gave it 4 stars - but it stuck with me more than I expected.

I loved the reread even more. This time I listened to the audiobook read by the author which was excellent. It also helped that I knew what was going to happen. So glad I read this again.

Don’t know why it took me so long to finish it - it was a good book. But I certainly didn’t like the age-trope. Can’t wait to see Nicholas and Anne doing this,

Firstly, my bf Nicholas Galitzine and Queen Anne Hathaway are very well cast as Hayes and Solene (or Sophie as I'm pretty sure she'll be called in the movie) so I'm likely to eat it up, the Nick girlies will be fed

Anyways onto the actual book...I enjoyed it in a Colleen Hoover guilty pleasure kind of way (it's less ridiculous and toxic than a Colleen book tho) but I didn't like the ending, kind of frustrating!! I wasn't expecting a masterpiece and some parts were deffo cringe but it was a bit of fun and will definitely make for an entertaining film.
