Still cute. I wanted a bit more buildup/tension from the romance tho. I also like thought the whole bitty being afraid of checking would be a bigger plot point here but he just overcame that fully off page? Which I thought was weird. But like I love the characters here so much and the team dynamics.

Love the webcomic. I love the detailed camaraderie of all the players. I did not have as much knowledge of hockey, but frankly, it didn't matter. Please continue reading this on checkpleasecomic.com and pay your respects to Ngozi, they are the best!

Since there are ton of things happening that could spoil it (and I am too tired to do spoiler tags) so I will keep this short. These were a few of my thoughts while reading: Pie, Vlogging, Bittle is adorable, Ship SHIP SHIP SHIP OMG Come on! Hockey SQUEEEEEE *cries* OMG
This book is all about the second year in the university, Bittle is no longer a Frog, he is now officially in the team, but he really has to learn (again) to not block when someone gets close to him while playing, the seniors are about to graduate (nooo, Jack! Shitty!), there are tons of pies, and so many other things. I loved this one to bits. I still got Year 3 to read and I will be doing that very very soon.
READ THIS, it is AWESOME.

The Check Please series is one of my very, very favorite pieces of fiction I'm going to be reading and reading Check Please for the rest of my life. It's funny, it's clever, it's romantic, it's complicated, and it has a wonderful ensemble cast. It receives my very highest recommendation.
