I really enjoyed getting to know her and the dual timeline of past and present. I thought she was very well rounded for hiding away in her house for so long and her story was very interesting.
The characters felt very complete, I thought every character was quite tangible and believable.
I was so happy she made a new friend, left her house, reconnected with her sister, that her mom died (lol bye bitch) and that she finally made a police report about what happened all those years ago.
I was truly not expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did!
Graphic: Rape and Self harm
Moderate: Abandonment
Minor: Body shaming, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Suicide attempt, and Alcohol

Meredith, Alone is a dual timeline novel that features a lovable character with significant trauma, anxiety, and depression. I believe the author handles the book with care and puts people in Meredith’s life to support her as she processes her trauma.
Meredith hasn’t left her apartment for three years, but wants that to change. This book is a testament to how therapy, good friends , and a cat, can help bring healing one moment at a time.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, and Rape
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Miscarriage, Physical abuse, Suicidal thoughts, and Toxic relationship
Minor: Cancer and Alcohol
