Oh my goodness. This is the best “beach read” I have enjoyed in a long time. The characters leapt off the page - they were authentic and real and funny and I quickly fell in love with them. The plot was moving and creative, the conflict realistic, and the settings beautiful. A joy to read.

While the middle of the story did get a bit repetitive and could have used some editing, this book brought such a smile to my face. while I can’t relate to the snotty children Liza had, there was so much of this book that is so relatable as a mom and wife. Loved it and am even planning our own Route 66 trip for my family.
