Woah! That was one wild ride, but from BB, I knew it was going to be Epic.

I was read it with my heart in my throat because I was feeling all that Rain and Wes was feeling, all that they fought for and loved for and everything for. I didn’t know what was going to happen, I just sat and read each word hoping and when I got closer to end I was on edge of my seat seeing all the words I was reading come to life in my head. Rain proved to time and time again she was the warrior badass we all knew she was growing to become and Wes proved that even the strongest walls you build up can crumble and the fight for all you love. But will it be enough. That’s what we find out in book 3 and man, it’s worth every damn, emotion.

When he kissed her cheek, I knew it was the end.

If you’re looking for a feel good, happy romance… this series is NOT for you. If you want your heart ripped out, trampled on, and then put back together again, you’re in the right place.

”When you fall in love at the end of the world, you live every day like it’s your last.”

4 stars. I’m so sad that this is the last book. I can’t believe how much I grew to love not only this series but these characters as well. I think Easton did something truly unique and different with these books and this was a fantastic ending.

Wes and Rain have grown so much since book one, especially Rain. She was such a crybaby pushover in the beginning of the series so to see her pretty much start a revolution in this one was pretty damn awesome. I loved that she was willing to do whatever it took to save Wes from execution and she was just all around really great. Wes was great as well and felt a lot more levelheaded and mature than before. Given his circumstances, it makes sense.

”The soul-crushing truth is that I want her more than I’ve ever wanted anything. I want her by my side and in my bed and in my life forever. I still don’t believe that God will let me have her, but until he pries her out of my cold, dead hands, I’m going to keep fighting.”

The romance between them is all encompassing and intense but it’s also beautiful and makes you want to root for them to get their happily ever after. The ending and epilogue were delightful but they go through hell and back to get to that point. Honestly, a lot of the time I was reading this and it felt like my heart was in my throat. I was so nervous for these characters and everything had me on edge. It was intense and didn’t let up until the very end and I loved every minute of it.

Overall, this is a series that I definitely would recommend and I cannot wait to read more by Easton.

These books were so addicting and I couldn't put them down.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole freaking time. Something just kept on happening and I never knew what they would do. Rain was such a badass in this book and I just love her. Wes really had some personal growth in this book but still was himself. The ending kind of made me chuckle because of all the plans that were going on, but I think it was a pretty fitting ending.

Also, I liked how all the books were so action packed, but I would have loved it if we got some more downtime with the characters, them just hanging out and stuff like that. Also, I'm ignoring the whole timeline of their relationship.
SpoilerThey fell for each other, got pregnant, engaged, almost died for each other multiple times, broke up for most of their relationship in what like two/three weeks?!
They just fitted togheter so I will forgive it xD

Anyway, I think that I read these books at the perfect time because it was just what I needed to help me move past my reading slump!
