DNFd at 10%. Maybe I’m in a slump, but this writing was not it. Were the journey and emotions of the character believable? Nope. Did the author just tell you what they felt? Yep. Were there significant themes in the first few chapters that were just casually solved? Yes?

As with any anthology, some were great some not to my taste.  Enjoyed the ones I enjoyed.

50/50 shot

To me 50% of these stories were really good and the rest were meh. Not because they weren’t good but because they truly felt incomplete. I understand these are novellas but I felt like they needed a more. Definitely worth reading the book though especially for the really good ones!
