Honestly, I love Tessa Bailey I truly do. The other books I have read by her, blew me away and I love the spice that she always delivers.
But, this one just didn’t do it for me and I might be in the minority in that. The storyline, loved it. Thought it was a fun and unique story that could’ve played out a lot better if maybe the story was longer. I felt that the timeframe given was too rushed and there was so much going on.
The spice that usually makes me weak in the knees, I just didn’t feel it with this couple. But as I say to everyone, read the books yourself and form your own opinion. I had high hopes for this one, but it was a miss for me.
Read if you like: true crime podcasts, grumpy/sunshine trope, dirty talk, bounty hunters and school teachers, murder mystery but make it funny
