This book had fantastic mixed Asian/White rep and hit so many of the experiences/struggles/questions I've had as a biracial Asian/White person.
Moderate: Cursing, Death of parent, and Suicide

This was one of the most amazing books I have ever read! So beautiful, love love love the characters, the middle was my favorite part. It’s so unique and it should really be recognized much more as an excellent ya novel. It handles some tough stuff that aren’t suitable topics for everyone to read but in my opinion at least, it handled them beautifully. It’s about learning, understanding, letting go, grief, family, friends, forgiving and so much more. It’s a magical realism and it was just the perfect book for me. As of right now, it’s probably tied for the place of my favorite ya novel. The relationships between the characters are so precious and Intricate. You’ll go from loving to hating to loving to hating to loving this one character and the whole story is just gorgeous.
Graphic: Suicide, Grief, Suicidal thoughts, Mental illness, and Cursing
