I hate to not give this a higher rating, but strictly from my professional stand point as a librarian this just is not my favorite book series. I still recommend it often due to its simple concept and how it encourages readers to guess what will happen next. It is a sweet story, but reading it out loud often doesn't work well for me.

Would read again. The wording gets a little repetitive but overall great story. Kinda sheds light on the greediness of mice - finally!
