I’m not crying. You’re crying. This book is a lot. Soulmates, sex, friendships revisited, sex, character development, sex, vengeance, sex, lines are crossed, sex, and ultimately heartbreak…the friends are all in trouble and no one has come out unscathed. In other words, you want to read this book - you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you need a few cold showers but mostly you’ll wish for a happy ending and death to the shadows. The question is will we get it in book 8?

I am so disappointed, this book was bad.
There was no plot for the first 50% of it, too many POVs, cringey chapters about pubes (what are we 14??), and at the end a bunch of random shit thrown at us to draw the story out that made no sense to the plot before this book.
There was so much great material in here for character growth and their relationships but the plot took a nose dive and it was sad to watch. There is quite literally nothing to look forward to for book 8, I don't even want to read it that badly. This should have been the last book, it felt like a filler book plus new stupid drama thrown in at the end to make the last book even that much longer because there is now SO MUCH TO RESOLVE.

They make me laugh. All the time. And then there is the unbearable pain they always put us through. Loved it so much I hope we don’t have to wait a whole year for the last book. Be warned. You will laugh a lot. Lots of cameos from the The Ruthless Boys. So to read those before you read this to understand certain cameos

WHY????
i’m sobbing and enraged at this book. so much went completely wrong when we thought things were going in the right direction but of course we know the twisted sisters don’t like their characters to be happy. *sobs*
i both hate and love this series. it always ends in absolute chaos and destruction and death. and i don’t think i’m going to get over a certain someone’s fate in this book. i keep my reviews civilized and PG but i’m spewing curse after curse over this ending. will i pick up the 8th book soon? i don’t know, i mean what else can go wrong honestly?? there’s still 2.5 books left. maybe more or less, at this point i doubt we’ll know and i have a feeling we’ll cry because i don’t see a happy ending. not the one we want, at least.
side note: there was sooo much smut, especially some that made me a tad uncomfy because i didn’t realize there were mm/mmf scenes and that’s just not my vibe, i love the characters but yeah.

This book has ruined me. I read it for 2 days straight between jobs and what little sleep I got. You killed my favorite character and honestly I really hope it’s not real. One of my favorite series of all time. Through the rollercoaster of emotions and all the Kleenex my poor husband had to hand me, I loved every minute. Cannot wait to find out how this ends and plz for the love of god bring Darius back and give poor Tory her happy ending. My heart won’t make it otherwise.
