First, thank you to the author for the ARC. This story is a nice change of pace for a modern day romance. The two main characters try to rekindle a romance from their white hot time together five years ago. The author includes snippets of that initial romance throughout the story at integral times to explain their choices and their relationship today. I found this helpful, as she included the actual dialog and the full scenes instead of eluding to what happened. It was interesting to see how the story would play out with two very different yet very strong individuals. The battle of wills was intense at times, but ultimately ended in true HEA form.
