Too chaotic. Too messy. Too over-the-top. Too much of everything. Too little of things that made sense. I had no idea what and where and why and when when I was reading it and I think that said a lot on how messed up this book was. It felt like an un-edited version of a book..I mean there were some cute moments then and there but like…what? I rarely give any book less than 3 stars but like this is inevitable. This book had it coming.

Didn’t feel any connection with any of the characters. They just felt too bland for me. Characters with no dimension. I think at one point the author just lost track of the plot and just went along with anything that came up at the moment. And I know thats how things work but like…EHH?

But I do want to read Em’s books though. The plot seems interesting and I hope Em at least had more personality than Will….

Ps. The trauma and back story part weren’t done well at all.

Ever since I discovered this author, I've found that she creates worlds that seamlessly blend together while also making them totally their own. I get excited to see characters from past books. She does this in a way that a new reader won't think much of an appearance from these characters but her fans that had met these people, from previous books-- some of which she didn't even write but are set in the Midnight Dynasty world, would get excited. That was the case with this trilogy.

I know when I start a book from this author, it will, more often than naught, will be a trilogy. Even knowing that it will sting to be left hanging. That was especially true with this trilogy. I've eagerly been waiting for the conclusion to Will and Bristol's story. This was a great ending. It was nice to see Will battle his demons and learn that physical contact didn't need to just be a transaction, especially sexually. I loved that Bristol was able to show him that and that she in turn had someone who could, and would, take care of her. As great as these two were, it was the interactions and connectedness between Mia and Emerson that stole the show for me. I don't even know how to explain it other than to say read Emerson's story and then read this one and see how meaningful this relationship is for the both of them. Almost, as if they were always destined to be family.

There were a few areas that I wished had been fleshed out a little more, mainly about the Dad. It felt like a major plot hole was left hanging after he left to "handle" some things to ensure everything was okay and safe for everyone.

That being said, this was a great conclusion. Is it my favorite? No. That would be hard to match since the boys named after Greek Gods own my soul. Highly recommend this author and anything she writes.

Loved the sneak peek of what, and who is to come.

I love this trilogy, this book, the characters and their journey so much!
Bristol and Will have a scorching hot, k!nky relationship that involves plenty of real emotions as well.
They battled their troubles together and helped each other slay emotional demons.
Their story is a hard fight to trust, stability and happiness.
There’s still some obstacles and action in this book, overall it’s less intense in that respect than the previous books.
I love the main and secondary characters so very much!
Bristol’s younger siblings were such a big, beautiful part of the story. Will’s brothers and significant others brought support and big heart to the story as well.
This last book was calmer, more emotional and steady (for the characters lives) than the previous books. I loved the first two books so much and this book was a soft, emotional ending to some really fantastic characters. I’ve enjoyed these characters so very much. I love this trilogy and highly recommended it.

Coercion is the third and final book in the Controlling Interest trilogy. Bristol Anderson and Will Leblanc’s journey started in Blackmail, continued in Extortion and now comes to a satisfying conclusion in Coercion.

In Coercion, Bristol and Will continue to grow closer, at times due to circumstances. There are family secrets that are revealed, a surprise or twist here and there but through it all Bristol and Will face it all, together, united as a couple. We get to find out a bit more about their families and come to better understand them, based on things that have happened in their pasts, which have shaped them.

The epilogue was delightful, as it gave you a taste of what’s to come in “Cross your Heart” which will follow the last remaining brother’s story -Sinclair Leblanc and his love interest, Vivian Constantine. “It feels good to have someone turn the tables on me. Like an itch that hasn’t been scratched in years.”

Overall this was another enjoyable read. So what are you waiting for? Take a ride on the “Wilde” side.

Coercion picks right up where we left Will and Bristol after book two with her twin siblings, Mia and Ben, missing.

Coercion is full of outside emotional tension that only seems to solidify the foundation of who Will and Bristol have become together and also build on what a future looks like for them going forward. It's really a great finish to their story.

There were so many great moments that touched my heart in this book, it's really hard to pick just one. Touching on just a few...When Will talks Mia through a panic attack...be still my heart. The inside view Will has as he opens up his heart to Mia about how his brother Emerson experiences them requires tissues. Lots of tissues. Then when Emerson comforts Mia...and for anyone who has read his trilogy, this is not his area of expertise, so once again...be still my heart. Lord I could go on and on because this is a wonderful and emotional book.

Now I can't wait for Sin's story and what will he bring to the Leblanc fold. I can hardly wait.

Coercion picks up where Extortion left off, Will and Bristol are trying to find her twin siblings and where they may have been taken. Will is becoming Bristol's rock and they continue to grow closer together. Will is beginning to transform from being aloof and seemingly uncaring into something more. Someone who is loving and realizes he wants more, he wants a family with Bristol. We see Will have flash backs to his horrible childhood, but with the help of his brothers, Emerson and Sinclair (Sin), he is able to recognize the darkness and where he needs to ask Bristol for help in getting over his pain.

I loved this trilogy, I was so excited to finally see where these characters go. The greatest thing about cliff-hangers is knowing we have another book coming to finish the story we are enjoying. The worst thing about cliff-hangers is knowing we have to wait a while to get our claws into more of the story. I loved how over the course of the trilogy we get to see the slow burn between these characters in the way of them building a relationship, yes they started off in a blackmail relationship, but we get to see their relationship grow into a strong and loving relationship and I loved that. I highly recommend this trilogy and I hope you enjoy Bristol and Will's story as much as I did.

Bristol and Will’s story was beautiful and so wonderfully written. This couple has been through so much, separately and together, but nothing is more profound than the obstacles they overcome together.
Ben and Mia, in their young lives, have endured more than most adults, but heart breaks for them at times.
I’m sad this couple’s journey has finished, although I’m sure they will make appearances in other Midnight Dynasty books.
Amelia Wilde has given us an awesome and amazing story for this couple.

I’m obsessed with the Midnight Dynasty world and the Leblanc brothers. The conclusion to Bristol and Will’s complicated love story was pure perfection. Could I love Will anymore? The answer is yes! His interactions with Mia made my heart swell. There were so many different aspects to this story’s dynamic. Bristol is a force to be reckoned with. Life has tossed her lemons, but she’s found her way to persevere. I cannot rave enough about this trilogy.
