The writing was fine, but it didn’t feel like a lot happened in the story besides the emotional development between Alejandro and Alana. I’m all for building the characters, but I prefer more to be happening. The plot started to get good near the end and by then I was too annoyed to read the next book to find out what happens.

I’d rate this 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 spice. It’s not the best written book, but I couldn’t put it down, and did actually enjoy parts.

 YESSSSS. Loved it. Absolutely a sucker for the "touch her and die" trope.

I loved Alejandro & Alana from the start.
