nina lacour has this wonderful skill of writing books that mirror everything i have buried deep within me with no intention of ever unearthing. this book took me the better part of 6 months to read simply because I needed to become a better person to finish it. Hold Still has all the elements i loved in We Are Okay hinting behind the words, not quite there yet. give me two years and i'll reread this book and find it in an entirely different light than I do now
