This book was a real mixed bag for me. I loved:
-the range of working class stories
-the bisexual representation
I didn't like:
-The lack of awareness of indigenous people
-the main love interest at all

Overall I'm glad I read it but I wouldn't again, and I feel it could have been greatly improved and I would have loved it because the premise was really interesting and I loved both of our main heroines. It would make a very good TV series adaptation.

Really good.  A book for book lovers.  A few too many unanswered questions and plot points to make this a Five Star book for me.  A little too much internal dialogue without external conversations for my liking.  Generally a nice story about a small dying town in Middle America that gets a boost of revitalization from a Swedish tourist.

Maybe I had too high expectations?

It was just messy and had to many POV’s. There wasn’t a clear picture of what it was about. Im kinda disapointed tbh…
