I’m starting to dislike to manga genre. everything is over exaggerated to the point where you hope the bad guy wins.

3 stars, chapters 89-97.
The first half of the volume started off strong but there were a lot of issues overall that impacted my enjoyment of this instalment.

I'll start off with the cover. Volume 10's cover shows Tanjiro in mid-fight whereas Nezuko's cover is just her posing/sitting. This was a let down considering how awesome she was when fighting the demon moon. Even worse, Nezuko is clearly sexualised in this cover, which is disgusting as she is a child.

The fight went on way too long and therefore became boring. There were times it was a bit ridiculous. For instance Inosuke gets stabbed, appears to be down for the count and then later suddenly attacks stating 'shifting the positions of my organs is just child's plaaay!!' There was no explanation as to how he did this. Tanjiro continues to get severely injured yet he is still able to fight which is unrealistic. The characters won from nonsense powerups rather than strategy and Nezuko healed them all which reduced the stakes that were built up. Nezuko's character seems to naturally be able to perform complex techniques including blood demon art and healing fatal wounds without any prior training which doesn't make much sense either.

The female demon moon last volume was portrayed as intimidating, cold and calculating. In this volume, she was whiny and dependent on her older brother. I just felt like this was just poor character regression and it undid all the intimidation built up about her in the previous volume.

A disappointing second half to the volume and I'm perplexed at all the 4 and 5 star ratings.
