What an absolutely heartbreaking and beautifully raw book. I'm so glad that I listed to the audio version and heard his story in his own words.

This book is hard and raw and sensational. Plenty of content warnings but truly an insightful and amazing autobiography.

Loved this book! I listened to the audiobook and it was great. Love when the author does the audiobook too.
Like others have mentioned, the timeline was hard for me to follow at times, especially when listening to the audiobook.

My man Elliot Page needed a better editor... I suspect his intention was to capture the nonlinear experience of being transgender, considering his allusion to it in the introduction, but he failed the execution, because the memoir comes off haphazardly slapped together, like an attempt to make sense of his past in the form of a published work, and thus doesn't truly cohere. I related to his experience quite a bit, but a lack of direction and flow frustrated me.

Extremely well written, Elliot has a talent when it comes to describing things that feel wordless. A brave telling of a tumultuous life
