I thought overall it was a good book. Definitely different then what I normally read in a YA fantasy book. I liked the concept a lot and the synopsis captivated me within the first few lines. The beginning had a very strong start and pulled me in and was most definitely crazy and creepy. And while I love the characters of Nita & Kovit and how fuckrd up they are and how they toe the line between good and bad I felt the story building fell slack for me. The middle was just okay, some scenes dragged on and on while other scenes I wanted more from were done in just a paragraph. And knowing that there’s at least two more books in the series makes me feel a little bit better about the ending. Also the plot twist I actually didn’t see coming so that’s always a nice surprise

Yesterday I finished 𝕹𝖔𝖙 𝕰𝖛𝖊𝖓 𝕭𝖔𝖓𝖊𝖘 and gave it 4⭐! Even though it was missing something for me to give it five stars, it doesn't mean it's not fascinating. I loved the characters, they were really well developed, the magic which was really unique, loved the writing style, story line and everything. Nita was one fierceless girl and I admired her since the beginning lol. Also I could see the relationship building between Nita and Kovit, but we'll see where that goes in the next two books 😏 I STAN OK!

Holy molly

"It was strange to see them sad. She always thought of them as happy, dancing with the screams of the people he tortured"
La gadji elle trouve ça touchant mdr
Bref je vais foncer lire le 2.

The art was beautiful and I loved the story. I want to pick up the book it's based on. I can't wait for season 2!

I love a book with a strong female lead character!
Nita is not only strong, but smart. She would have thoughts or ways about a situation that I wouldn’t have even thought of.
The surprise at the ending was also very clever ! Although I did hope that her and Kovit had stayed together.
Was a good read! Next book is on order haha
