This book gave me exactly what I wanted when I read it. Sometimes I just want a formulaic YA mystery with generic characters while the author(s) also attempt to throw in social issues. The Agathas is fast paced, full of red herrings, great audiobook narration if that's your thing, and did I mention the pacing was really well done?

Great story, relatively clean, Veronica Mars vibes.

I was pretty excited to read The Agathas, but it didn't quite work for me. There was a pretty distinct difference in writing style at the beginning between POVs that made things jarring to read--I very much preferred Glasglow's chapters--and the mystery plot never really captured my attention.

It has been a while since I’ve been genuinely surprised by the ending of a mystery novel, so I really like the fact that I was genuinely surprised at the end of this book I think it was a very well done twist, and after it was revealed, all the pieces really fall into place And it’s hard to have pieces fall into place at the end without having it be a dead giveaway while it’s done and I commend it

4.5 stars. This was a solid teen mystery with a number of twists and detective missteps and red herrings. Great pick for anyone who loved [b:One of Us Is Lying|58679358|One of Us Is Lying (One of Us is Lying, #1)|Karen M. Listened to the audio. Excellent narration.

This was such a well written book and the twists and turns shocked me. Fast paced and with realistic characters made this book an incredible read and such a fun, yet tense, time. This is just such a strong book for the genre and I cannot wait for more.
