I didn't finish it because it's the worst book I've ever read.  It's badly written, paced, and is literally just a commercial for other books.

I read this mostly for The Tala storyline. I was very interested to see how all the “kids” turned out. And it was an interesting read, definitely hope that each one gets more then a short story.
I also read The Grace Draven story and definitely want to read more about the characters!

A mix of quality in the stories. I liked some, didn't like others. Most of all, my biggest complaint was how much knowledge I already needed of the worlds in these stories. They really weren't as standalone as I thought. But there were fun magic systems and characters. Some good spice. And it put me in somewhat of a holiday mood.

All novellas

Every story in this anthology is a novella from a larger series - now I’ve got a few new series to check out!
