I ate every second of this book up. Talk about a mafia romance where the man falls first and HEAD OVER HEELS. and did I mention so quick?? like love at first sight

“All it took was: three heartbeats, two seconds, and one taste. And I was hers” — T might be one of the sweetest mafia men out there (only behind closed doors of course) but man the way he loves Holly was intoxicating. I couldn’t get enough.

this book ended on a HUGE cliffhanger so naturally I already downloaded the second book

I am such a sucker for mafia romance, it's crazy. I remember stumbling on a blurb of this book and then buying it. I don't know why it took me so long to read it, but once I started it, I ATE IT UP. There is just something about an Italian mafia man who will do anything for his lady. I really enjoyed the characters and the story. I really could relate to Holly. I know what it's like to be an overthinker as well as afraid to try something new and scary. I also dislike having confrontations with people, but I will be anything to protect those I love. I can't wait to read the next book, BECAUSE I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT CLIFFHANGER.

Don't waste your time.

There's a fine line in dark romance books, even more in mafia romances, that must not be crossed to me: the main male characters don't kill innocent women or children.
This is one thing I cannot accept. At all. We already see innocent people murdered in real life for no reason all the time because of those people.
I don't know what came up to this author. Why would you write that? Like... okay L killed the fathers, why can't T do something to her to make her pay instead of going on a murder spree???
This book was already bad (seriously really bad) but now it's even worse.
I'm a sucker for insta love but this was not it.
This was a very bad attempt to a dark romance.

I thought this book had potential in the beginning. Had good imagery and a decent start. Things started going downhill pretty quick after the two main characters met.

I’m all for a quick love and male dominance, but 24 hours after meeting and they are in love and would die for each other? Eww. FMC is all back and forth between having confidence and being simpering weakling. The description of the mafia world is pitiful. Imagery started to go downhill after the first 50 pages.

I understand trying to get the whole “you’re mine” thing down, but when the FMC starts saying things like “I’d cut her hand off” when her personality doesn’t at all match, doesn’t do it for me.

Not a very good mafia romance read.
