My sock remain unblown, but an interesting parallel story nonetheless.

“—No, mi señor —admitió Garro—. Yo tampoco siento deseo alguno de creérmelo, pero a la Verdad le importa muy poco lo que queremos.”

Seeing the start of the heresy in another perspective was great.

Solid military sci-fi read. The writing style is beautiful and it was fun to observe the events of the betrayal at Istvan from another perspective with some overlap in characters. Some of the descriptions became a bit repetitive, but other than that it was a great read.
