Yu's dumbness is truly unparalleled. "and to get that chance, i'll do anything. Even if it means killing people, I'll do it. I'll do whatever it takes to protect my friends and family...Right, Mika?" "Right, Yu." God they are so unhinged and toxic I am a slut for this dynamic
Yu waking up from those nightmares calling for Mika...yeah...🥲...or Yu lighting up like a goddamn lightbulb upon seeing Guren

This is an ongoing series so this review is likely to contain spoilers for the previous volumes and of course the current one I'm writing about.

Final warning!!

SpoilerThis one sees the plan to battle Ky Luc, the vampire charged with guarding Ferid and Krul whilst they undergo torture by sunlight. He is a 5th Progenitor and a damn difficult target. Once again I love how situations like these are forcing the vampires and Shinoa Squad to work together. It creates a really interesting dynamic for the series. The plan hinged on using the Seraph of the End within Yu to overwhelm Ky.

I get that this is like their hail mary but every time its used Yu gets closer and closer to being a full demon. It's also revealed that Asuramaru is the brother of Krul. How thats going to play out I have no idea but I can't wait to see it. I also wonder what will happen if Yu keeps using his demon weapon.

So much happens in these volumes it's hard to keep track of it all!
