While I think it's a good comic to introduce people to like, the ideas of how the rich perpetuate oppression and such, I don't know that it's necessarily that nuanced. Like I said when I first read it, the ending feels rushed in a Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn) kind of way, which is to say that it spends a lot of time setting up scenarios only for it to end in a very rushed way which, while admittedly satisfying, doesn't really do much beyond that.
Graphic: Cannibalism, Violence, Addiction, Alcohol, Gore, Murder, Physical abuse, Blood, Classism, Death, Sexism, Alcoholism, Cursing, Drug abuse, Drug use, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Emotional abuse and Confinement

This graphic novel is great! It talks about how gross the rich can be and has sci fi twists and turns in it. The ending is very satisfying and I love the theme. Totally a must read if you’re the 99%. ❤️
