Devon lusted after Bryce since the age of 12. Bryce is her brother, Nate's BF. Quinn, Devon's BFF is the only one who knows about Devon's true crush on Bryce. Devon (age 15) kisses Bryce at a party before he leaves for college, realizing his mistake he pulls away. Devon informs him of her crush and he said he hopes when se is 18, he hopes she still feels the same way. Guess what she does and she'll going to University of Tennessee where Nate/Bryce go so they will be closer again. Until an unexpected bomb is dropped on her changing the course of her life. To make matters worse this bomb occurs on her birthday and graduation from high school. She goes to University of Virginia instead after this bomb and Quinn goes with her.

Sadness in Bryce's eyes when Devon learns of this bomb. Bryce continues to try mend their broken friendship. He gets his break and attempts to get her to listen to him. He needs to explain that since the day she turned eighteen his life has been a rollercoaster and has had to make some really hard decisions and the one person he wanted to turn too-he couldn't.

Always hear the other side of a story cause there are two sides to each story. Holy crap that was a twist once he told the story. Sorry won't spoil this for you, but I will say that you will be grabbing the next book to find out what transpires between these two.

I loved this book! Brothers best friend is one of my favourite tropes and this is a great one!
Bryce and Devon are a great couple, even if sometimes the dialogue is a little bit awkward.
This is a quick read, but sweet and hot. I recommend you give it a go!

I started reading this book this morning. I just randomly selected it from Amazon and boy, was I happy with my selection. This is book has it all: school girl crush, broken heart and second chance romance. I really liked the characters. Devon, who chose her own way to heal, when she realized her fairy tale was fractured. Yes, she sort of ran away, but she used that time to grow and find her self. And Bryce. I was very disappointed in Bryce, but he worked hard and eventually ended up in my good graces. We were given so many swoon worthy moments as Bryce fought to prove himself to Devon. Neither of these characters were perfect, they were real and I appreciated that. I look forward to reading more about these two
