This is the second book on Hygge that I've read in the last six month. I really enjoy learning about Hygge and the life style of the Danish. But I didn't like this one as much as the Little Book of Hygge.

Reading this book felt more like a professor giving a lecture about Hygge. There were some example about the components of Hygge and photos that had the feel of Hygge. But it didn't grip me the way the first book did. I feel like I needed to take extensive notes to remember what the author was talking about.

I must be a little Danish because I am so good at hygger! This is a beautiful book, one that should be savored and not read in two quick sessions like I did (I think I would have enjoyed it more had I spread it out because there is a lot of repetition in these pages). I read it under a blanket as the snow fell, just as one should do to experience hygge.

What I liked most about this book was the underpinnings of the idea and the concept of hygge. Although there are practical applications this book mostly focuses on the concepts rather than the actual structure or actions of hygge. I feel this is a concept I want to know more on this level

Durant toute la lecture de cet ouvrage j'ai eu envie de prendre un billet pour le Danemark et de me caler dans un fauteuil au coin du feu.
Une lecture douceur de vivre.
