This book made me feel seen. Like someone knew what I had been through. Both as a person with DID and a trans person. I finally felt like someone understood. I still haven’t stopped crying
Graphic: Child abuse, Deadnaming, Homophobia, Mental illness, Physical abuse, and Transphobia
Moderate: Alcoholism, Deadnaming, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, and Abandonment

A weird story that I didn’t really enjoy reading but forced myself to read anyway because I could empathize with the interesting main character and wanted to find out if things ended well for her. Thankfully it seemed to be a relatively happy ending. The book is for fans of really raw and meaningful storytelling - a memoir that’s more like a deep diary entry than an actual story.
Moderate: Emotional abuse and Physical abuse
Minor: Suicidal thoughts and Suicide
