My favorite book of 2021 so far! A funny, sweet, relatable story - and perfect illustrations. Aside from the fun super-hero aspects of this story and girl power (and the amazing things these very clever 217 cats can do) I think every girl/woman can relate to that terrible heart-wrenching experience of growing apart from a best friend. Really a superb book for kids (and adults who love children's literature or cats or laughing and having fun).

This one jumped around a bit much, but I did like the characterization of Katie and all of the cats. It goes out of its way to portray law enforcement as doofuses.

Really cute book! I didn't read the inside flap before I read it so I wasn't aware of the superhero aspect of this graphic novel but it was so fun! I loved all the characters but mostly I loved all the cats. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun fast read.

I loved all the cats in this book! The art was cool (art of cats is always cool…), and it was interesting.I would say however that it didn’t have great characters, and the world building was definitely lacking. However it was still a really fun read!

Super fun start to a new graphic novel series about 217, superheroes/villains, and growing up.

WHAT A FUN READ!

Didn’t know what to expect but I had a wonderful time!

Such a fun graphic novel full of twists and surprises about a supervillain? Or superhero???

But Katie is trying to save up for summer camp (omg it is so expensive!!!! 😭😭😭 what even?) and she ends up CAT SITTING 217 cats! The dream! 😹😹😹 but they aren’t ordinary cats…don’t want to spoil it for you but if you love cats then this is the PURRFECT book for you!

10/10 would recommend!

Can’t wait to read the next book!

Katie starts her summer break focused on a single mission: saving up for sleepaway camp. When her first few efforts don't work out, Katie takes a job working for her neighbor, a glamorous woman whose apartment is overrun with 217 felines. How difficult could a little bit of catsitting possibly be? In Katie's city of superheroes, supervillains, and maybe even super-cats...it could be VERY difficult indeed. Cat lovers of all ages will adore this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud graphic novel.
