Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. I did like the writing style and the premise was interesting, but it didn’t do much for me. However, I am excited to try more books by this author.

Some very interesting point raised, on sleep - something most people don't address from that framework, how the ability to sleep, to fall asleep, sleep deeeply & wake up is a pretty random factor that is nonetheless very crucial in one's quality of life, from their happiness to their ability to study & work efficiently. Is it fair to judge people on the same scale when some can fall asleep on command & have been well rested the vast majority of their life, while others have slept like shit all their life & are almost never well rested. The word "lazy" used by people in the first category to talk about people in the second category feels outrageous to me (it always does though, the word "lazy" is the biggest trap ever).

Another very interesting point is the aspect about charity & the methods used to gather donations, with the admitted use of manipulation & emotional blackmailing. (I spent too long trying to remember how to say emotional blackmailing in English that I forgot what my point was, my nighbors started to have loud sex, so I had to put music on, do they have to do it now I thought, it's 4 am, I meant to go to bed right after writing my review, I'm busy, I have things to do & now I can't very well go to sleep,, I have to wait until they stop so the noise is gone, I thought, which is pretty ironic considering that I picked up the book again because I am doing much better sleep wise so the reading of it wasn't too distressing to me. Doing much better for sleep is still not outside what normal people would call a crisis zone, but it is better for me at least - look, I deleted all my other social media, this is the only place left where I can talk to myself so yeah, I'm gonna go off topic sometimes, it's okay).

The third point I found worth of notic was the use of the concept of donor-donee applied to every interpersonal relationship. That circles some thoughts I don't manage to express well, about social relationships & how we express our value to each other...
