It's bittersweet to be finished with this series. I've grown to love the world, the characters, and the adventures-albeit unwilling-they go on. This book picks up right after the last book ends and we are thrown right into the story.

I was extremely confused by the first chapter. For some reason I wasn't understanding what was happening but upon rereading it I understood it a little better. Wasn't a big fan of how it was written or some of the other scenes like it.

While I love Noor as a character I was very disappointed that Emma and Jacob never got back together in this book. My main problem with Jacob and Moor's relationship is how fast it happened. We saw Emma and Jacob become friends and develop feelings that way, we got to see how their feelings developed and saw their love for each other happen. But, with Jacob and Noor it was almost insta-love. Jacob and Emma weren't broken up for long before he saw Noor and suddenly they are together. Their whole relationship felt rushed and forced to me. I think they would have been better as close friends.

The book was/is very long, but it didn't feel unnecessarily long. Nothing felt like it was dragging or just happened for no reason. I was worried everything would be resolved way too quickly and the answers they needed to know to defeat Caul and the whole final battle would be anticlimactic but BOY, was I wrong.

The battle/fighting scenes were some of my favorite scenes. They were quick and precise but also well described and throughout. The way Ransom Riggs wrote the book let the readers know everyone's life was in danger, anyone could die at any given time and it wouldn't be for shock factor if it happened.

My favorite scene in the whole book was most definitely the very last fight scene between our Peculiars and Caul.

While it may seem my only critique is with the relationship between Jacob and Noor, that's not the case. I wasn't really happy with how it all ended with Jacob's parents. We don't know if they're okay because, it sure didn't seem like it in that last scene.

But overall I enjoyed my time reading this series and I would very much recommend it to anyone who wants an immersive, dangerous, adventure to fall into and a cast of characters you will fall in love with.

WHAT A WAY TO END THE SERIES! Mr. Riggs certainly knows how to end it all with a bang. This book runs at a break-neck pace and doesn't let up for a second. It requires some serious stamina to get through but it is so, so worthwhile. My favorite character by far was Horatio, who is just this wild guy that randomly shows up with a flamethrower and keeps saving the day over and over again. Talk about an unlikely hero! The ending is everything you want it to be. It's heartwarming, happy, and it made me cry like a baby in public. A few loose ends don't get tied up quite as satisfyingly as I would have liked, but I can forgive that one little slip-up. It's not the end you would expect, but it is the one all our peculiar friends deserve, and I won't say more than that.

I have become death, the destroyer of worlds.

Well that's it for Miss Peregrine! I really liked this series when I was younger and there were only three books but I felt really obliged to read the last three because I am a completionist. I kind of lost track of the story and some of the characters which is pretty much my own fault. I also listened to an audiobook of this and didn't get to look at the signature pictures which is a shame but it's ok. I thought this was a pretty solid ending. It was quite cute and felt necessary. Maybe six books WASN'T necessary but that's ok, I enjoyed myself overall. I probably would've rated it higher if I had paid more attention to this series and kept up to date but it was still pretty solid for what it was.

Quite fun, in a Miss P's kind of way (with wars and such).

Pretty good ending to the series but not as good as the first three. Over all I loved this series and is my favourite Fantasy series of all time.
