This collection of short stories all follow the same template for set up- old lady complains about something awful in her life, she makes a connection with some body who is less than perfect, she gets annoyed, she kills them, and then gets away with it. The only one I really enjoyed was the one not written in her POV. Honestly, I don’t know if I want to read the other in the collection just to prove this hypothesis or to mark a series as finished. Either way it’s not because it’s good 😂

I would classify this book as a cozy thriller. There aren’t high stakes but there is murder.

This book is a compilation of short stories about 89 year old Maud and her no good deeds. I am still not sure if I want her to succeed or get caught.

I didn’t reread the description before starting this one so it was kind of a funny surprise in the first story but by the end I was kinda sick of this old lady murdering people ngl . Wasn’t bad rly but I thought it would be more fun mischievous type stuff or at least a little variety in what happened . Also was not a fan of the constant insistence that she wasn’t like Those People (disabled people) :/
