This is just such a sweet series— couldn’t wait for the second one to come in so I kept going. I just love the themes of reaching out for help when you need and the therapeutic skills of animals.

One of my Kobo Humble Bundle books and I just had to read this one, I could use something fun, chill. Though, given a few scenes, not always was this a chill manga, there are some sad moments with our MC to do with the death of his wife, how he cannot play on stage (or get anywhere near a stage). Thankfully, he has friends and a cute kitten to get him through things. I loved the scenes with our old man and his young kitten (either from his POV or the kitten's POV). The whole cherry operation and how our MC reacted made me laugh, sorry. I also loved getting the POV of other characters, though that other pianist can just go and fuck off, sorry again, but seriously that guy was so insensitive and rude. Bah.
I want more of this series!
