Dark elf General Guilri (H) has high expectations of his troops as they take down orcs and contain rebelling humans, the latter of which he considers to be nothing more than bestial animals. Guilri becomes separated from his men, deserted and severely injure in the harsh desert. Bridget (h), a healer in a hidden settlement of escaped humans, comes upon the dying Guilri and takes him to her village to heal. As Guilri and Bridget get to know one another, they begin to see things in a new light about one another’s kind and their relationship progresses into the hot and steamy realm. But Guilri and Bridget are in danger from a sinister force who seeks to part them and they’ll have to find new allies to save themselves. Hot and steam dark-elf human romance. The Thirteen are making themselves more and more known as sides are being chosen and the battle is drawing nearer.

Guilri is a disciplined military warrior who expects nothing but the best from his subordinates under his leadership. When things go a stray and he is left injured in the deserts hot sun he prays for death to take him.
Bridget is a human healer who stumbles upon him while gathering medicinal plants. Unable to let him suffer she nurses him back to health.

This story had me a tad confused as where it was all leading to. However the story itself is self explanatory and the ending will b!ow your mind. Unfortunately there is a c!if changer but sure as hell gets you ready for the next book
